IMITATION OF PRECIOUS TIMBER GRAINS ON ANODIZED EXTRUDED ALUMINIUM

SUBLIMATION:

The Anofor sublimation process is carried out on pre-treated painted aluminum with Surtec coating based on adhesion.
The sublimation process is divided into the following phases:

1. A polyester sheet containing the weft on the profile/sheet is adhered.

2. The surface is heated and the polyester gives its texture to the bottom of varnish which softens at high temperature and incorporates it into the lower layers.

3. The profile / sheet is cooled in order to stabilize the decoration.

PAINTING:

The painting provides a treatment in degreasing and removal tank based on Itadox (acid) with removal of at least 1 g/m2.
The profile then proceeds with a series of ultra-pure water and demi water washes to be treated in a tank containing surtec (hexavalent chromium free fixative).
The profile / sheet is painted in a vertical system using Qualicoat approved powder coatings.

COLOURS:

A range of 33 finishes is currently available, replicating the finest wood-grain effects;
