IMITATION OF PRECIOUS TIMBER GRAINS ON ANODIZED EXTRUDED ALUMINIUM
PRETREATMENT:
Sulphuric acid-based anodic oxidation of the aluminium, thickness 12/15 microns. Pretreatment consists in a phase of anodic oxidation and electrolytic colouring of the aluminium, specifically devised to be able to incorporate a subsequent phase of decoration by heat transfer.
DECORATION:
Vacuum sublimation at 205°C.
PAINTING:
The process is completed by electrostatically applying a layer of special transparent polyester powder that is cured by heat, improving sealing and the surface finish and ensuring outstandingly high resistance against corrosion and weathering.
APPLICATION:
Special plasma-based electrostatic process.
COLOURS:
A range of 33 finishes is currently available, replicating the finest wood-grain effects;
